"We visited the Tung Wa Hospital this day
and found it clean and in good order, a most marked improve-
ment on its condition in 1894. It would appear the Visiting
and House Surgeons have little control over the servants
of the establishment and no voice whatever in their appoint-
ment. This should be remedied, to improve the efficiency of
the Hospital.

*It is a pity more of the Fever patients are
not being treated according to Western methods, which would
have considerably shortened the prolonged stay of some of
